Route Duel – Privacy Policy
Effective 20 October 2026 (version 1.1)
Route Duel is a puzzle game for iPhone. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it. The short version: we do not collect any personal information ourselves. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device information to show and measure those ads. Optional purchases are handled entirely by Apple.
Information we collect
None. Route Duel has no accounts and no sign-in, and we run no servers that receive your information. It does not ask for your name, email, contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Route Duel is free and shows ads between duels, plus optional "watch an ad" rewards (a hint, a lucky rematch or saving your day streak). The ads come from Google AdMob. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device type and settings, your IP address (used for an approximate location), how you interact with ads, and app diagnostics.
Google may also use your device's advertising identifier to show ads that fit your interests, but only if you choose "Allow" when the game asks whether it may track you. You can change this at any time in your iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security, Tracking. If you choose not to allow tracking, you still see ads, just less personalised ones.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game first asks for your consent using Google's consent form. You can change your choices later with the "Privacy choices" button in the game's Settings.

Purchases
You can buy "Remove ads" and "Unlimited hints" inside the game. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. The game only learns which items you own, so it can unlock them. "Restore purchases" in Settings brings them back on a new phone.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your level, your wins and losses, your day streak, your settings (sound, vibration and reduce motion) and which purchases you own on your own device, so you can carry on where you left off. We do not receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
Children
Route Duel is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example because a future version adds a new feature, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date before that version of the game is released.
